Project: Personal Branding

2026
Beginning with a minimal design idea to create my personal branding was my idea for this. The color emerald green is my favorite color, so I wanted to add that into my personal branding. I created a personal brand that represents me as designer and my minimal design idea helps bring this project to life.
Preliminary Sketches
I started with my full name and initials to experiment with seeing what strokes, styles, and sizes might work. I thought a tag might work for the logo, but that started to become too much. I also wanted to try to bring nature theme into my personal branding. Plus, I wanted to keep my logo simple and not too busy.
Color Palette
Starting with my favorite color of emerald green, I wanted to use neutral colors that would make the emerald green stand out. But also, keep with the minimal design of my personal branding.
Typography
The typography was to be something that was bold but still held onto the minimal design. Plus, I wanted a font that would work in the emerald green. Plus, they had to be readable.
Digital Iterations
Digitalizing my sketches, I tried out many different iterations for my logo. I know I wanted something that had my initials plus my full name. I also tried to bring the nature theme I wanted to try but it was not working out. I really liked the interlocking form of my initials with my full name. This made my logo have a minimal design and style to it.
Final Logo
My final logo brought the minimal style to life along with using the emerald green. Use just my name and initials allow to have people see who I am. I like the white background it is on, to help the color pop.
Logo Lockups
The logo is designed to appear on many assorted products and advertisements.
Animation
The animation was interesting to create. I wanted my logo to come in as if they were kind of being drawn in. The letters wrapping around each other as they form give it a nice effect on it.
Brand Applications
Brand applications were created to see how my branding would be in the real world.
