When it came to this project, this was a taste into making a logo and signage to go with it. Taking the theme of the olympics and creating my own winter olympics in a chosen city.

Preliminary Sketches

The sketches for this project were use to brainstorm my ideas for the logo and pictograms. The I had were, using the shape of the Alps mountain range near Turin. Also I wanted to bring in the Broque style into the logo that is found throughout the city.

Color Palette

Bring the color used bring the nature feel to the logo. The green represent the ground or grass found in Turin. The shades of blue represent the Alps. The different colors represent the snow Turin gets during the winter season.

Typography

The typography of the logo was used for Turin 2030. This was to allow the text stand out. It made it easier to read and find the logo.

Final Logo

The logo shows off the Alps along with having the swipe of the green to add some movement of the logo.

Pictograms

The pictograms are to help vistors find the different sport events at the olympics. But also to be found on different deliverables like the tickets and signage. Pictograms are still a work in process. Will update once I the final version. Will add once I have it done.
